The “Might & Magic” franchise can trace its history all the way back to 1996. It spans multiple Gaming platforms and genres, and now it is back with a reboot for mobile devices on May 31st on Android and iOS.
PVE and PVP plus more
“Might & Magic: Elemental Guardians” is on smartphones and will feature PVE battles, allowing players to form a team of warriors to summon in fast-paced RPG fights. Players will have strategic control over their team and will need to use the four elements (Fire, Water, Air, and Earth) tactically to win each battle.
Throughout the game, players will encounter, battle and collect more than 400 unique elemental creatures.
These are things like dragons, paladins, assassins, giants and many others. As players collect more they will have more variety in how they build their battle teams.
As well as PVE battles, there is also a PVP mode. Players can take part in an arena to challenge players from around the world in strategic asynchronous battles. Each week, players will battle to increase their rankings and grow from Beginner to Master and claim rewards based on their rank.
“Might & Magic: Elemental Guardians” includes plenty of creature evolutions. As a creature grows stronger, it can evolve into something more powerful. This allows the player to train their favourite creatures and also equip them with powerful ancient Glyphs that unlock their true potential.
There is also an Augmented Reality mode which allows players to bring their favourite creatures to life in front of their very eyes. Here you can take photos of your creatures and watch PVP battles from a completely new perspective.
On top of everything else, “Might & Magic: Elemental Guardians” includes live events and guild quests.
These will allow you to win rare items and work together with your friends and teammates towards a common goal.
Other 'Might & Magic' games
The “Might & Magic” games have gone through many different forms in their years. There has been the “Heroes of Might & Magic” series which is a tactical turn-based combat game where players much travel the land recruiting units and completing quests.
There was also the 3D action game called “Warriors of Might & Magic” that released on the PlayStation 2. This had a unique plot and was unlike any previous “Might & Magic” game before or after.
