The Lego games have been prolific. There are seemingly few movie franchises left untouched by the Lego games, and now we have “Lego The Incredibles.” The game will allow players to experience the stories from both. "The Incredibles" films and releases on June 15 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Windows.

The Lego games follow the similar path in each game - collect studs, jump and fight your way through enemies specific to the licenses world, and continue that through the area. However, it is a winning formula that has seen them to great success.

While it looks like “Lego The Incredibles” is no different to other Lego games, that is exactly what fans want.

'Lego The Incredibles' story

Lego The Incredibles” uses the story of the previous 2004 Film and the one for the upcoming release. It has large open world cities and plenty of other Pixar characters making an appearance, too. Players will, of course, get to control Bob, Helen, Violet, Dash, and Jack-Jack in their Lego forms.

As with other Lego games, “Lego The Incredibles” allows for cooperative play where you and a friend can tackle the entire game together. This includes playing around in the open-world cities and trying out the vast range of character powers and abilities. Just like previous games, players will need to work together to complete puzzles and progress through the level.

The fights in “Lego The Incredibles” has a little extra that previous games didn't, it has super moves. This gives players the ability to charge up a super move that unleashes the powers of whichever character they are playing.

As well as the main story of the two films, there are also side missions throughout the open-world city.

These can be completed whenever the player wishes and can even be done before taking on the main story modes. This lets you take the game at your own pace and get a feel for the environments, characters and abilities.

Other Lego games

Another successful Lego game with a large open-world environment was “Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2” this was the follow up to the successful first game and “Lego Avengers.” It had a large open world for players to explore and a wide cast of superhero powers to enjoy.

Look forward to the June release of “Lego The Incredibles” on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Windows. It is a welcome addition to the growing catalogue of Lego video games. We’ll have to wait until closer to the release date for more information, trailers and reviews.
