Just like a cricket match won with a last but perfect stroke, “Dangal” has given a perfect ending to 2016 in the entertainment niche by completely sweeping off the audience with charismatic performances by its characters.
The movie which sees Aamir Khan in the lead role as Mahavir Singh Phogat and Zaira Wasim, Fatima Sana Shaikh as Geeta and Suhani Bhatnagar, Sanya Malhotra as Babita, his two on-screen daughters will be remembered for a long time by the audience for its lively and soulful portrayal of the characters.
The movie has touched the patriotic nerve of the viewers to an extent that it compelled all Indians to stand up for the National Anthem song played during the movie.
Following Sultan stealthily, “Dangal” not far behind!
“Dangal” has already crossed the Rs. 275.53 crores mark in mere 6 days to become the second biggest blockbuster of 2016 following "Sultan" which collected Rs.300.45 crores closely and over-crossing "Jungle Book" with Rs.181.75 crores collection.
It is a close fight between Aamir and Salman now and it seems to be just a matter of days that Aamir out shadows Salman and perhaps manages to leave even the box office collections of "PK" behind. The box office collections in just 6 days of “Dangal” are merely Rs.25 crores behind.
