Rohan Mehra who essayed the character of Naksh on “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata” Hai quitting the show for entering the Bigg Boss season 10 house had many assume that a new casting for Naksh’s character will happen soon. Instead the latest online reports suggest that while Naksh’s new casting is still under process, his character already has a new lover on the show.
Mohena enters as Kartik's sister and Gayu completes the love triangle
According to online reports,Mohena Singh will be entering the show as Kartik’s elder sister and will slowly become Naksh’s new love interest.
Fans of “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai” have been rooting for Naksh and Naira to get together since forever now and this latest development makes their union far more difficult.
Mohena has not done any fiction show on Indian Television yet, she was last seen in Zee TV’s dance reality show "Dance India Dance" and in Bollywood movie "ABCD" (Any Body Can Dance). The current track of the show has shown Naira played by Shivangi Joshi rejecting Kartik’s proposal which was followed by Kartik ignoring Naira completing just to make her realize her love for him.
In the meantime, Naira will realize that Gayu (Kanchi Singh) has feelings for Kartik so she will move away from Kartik which is exactly opposite of what Kartik had predicted.
This will create a love triangle between Naira Kartik and Gayuwhich will further intensify and test Naira and Kartik’s love story.
Hina Khan recovering from Dengue, Mohena to pump up the excitement levels meanwhile
Also, currently the main female lead of the show Hina Khanis recovering from Dengue and is not said to be shooting as per online reports.
She was earlier rumored to be quitting the show due to creative differences but the Dengue news clarified that she is just ill and taking rest. We wish her speedy recovery and hope that Mohena’s character pumps up the excitement levels on the show. "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" airs on Star Plus Monday to Saturday 9.30 pm ISD and is one of their longest running shows.
