Yeh Hai Mohabbatein is creating a lot of ripples with its current acid attack track. The track has become talk of the town because such incidents have realism to them, the reports of acid attacks on Indian women due to one sided love affairs have sadly become uncommon now.

The acid attack ruins Adi and Aaliya'slove story

In the light of this reality, Star Plus’s Television show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein took everyone by shock when their next generation lead Aaliya became a victim of acid attack on the show just after she disapproved the lead pair Ishita and Raman’s son Adi’s love proposal.

It was obvious that the blame for the said attack was put directly on Adi as he was not only drunk but the acid bottle was found in his car as well.

Ishita believes Adi can never commit such a crime

Though such proofs were found, his mother Ishita Bhalla (Divyanka Tripathi) kept saying that Adi cannot do such a heinous crime in any given circumstance and the audience too believed the fact that Adi’s character was too emotional to commit such a crime. Raman Bhalla (Karan Patel) on the other hand had always maintained that he will never forgive Adi if he has actually committed this crime and he has always said that it is a possibility since Adi has anger issues since his early childhood days.

Adi confesses and shocks everyone

But in a complete contrast to what the audience believes, the latest twist according to online reports is that Adi (Abhishek Verma) will confess the crime. While the entire Bhalla family is hell bent on proving him innocent, he will go ahead and surrender accepting that he threw acid on Aaliyaplayed by Krishna Mukherjee.Adi will thus be arrested in the upcoming episodes.

Though he has confessed for the crime, it is a probability that Adi has not done the crime but is only saving someone dear who is the real culprit and should be put behind the bars.

We will have to wait and watch how the story unfolds post Adi’s arrest and how and when the real culprit gets arrested.

Yeh Hai Mohabbatein airs on Star PlusMonday to Friday 7.30pm ISD.
