This Saturday, 11th, Zack Snyder, director of 'Batman vs Superman - Dawn of Justice', released news and a new trailer at Comic-Con International: San Diego. A first trailer of Suicide Squad, upcoming supervillain new movie from Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment was released as well. The cast already showed up last year at Comic-Con. Alongside with Zack, the panel included Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot and Henry Cavill. This new trailer wasn't the only surprise since Zack arrived this year too at Comic-Con inside a Batmobile.
He said to the panel: "We broke a rule.
It made sense to us, to use Gotham and Metropolis as sister cities across a big bay". He also defended the Man of Steel's finale stating that they are no joking about life and death. Killing all these people in Men of Steel was that massive destructions have consequences. Superheroes are not knocking around. The first trailer included a first look at the war between Batman and Superman and the role of public opinion in it. While Gal Gadot did not appear, the star's version of Wonder Woman did feature in the second trailer.
The footages of the new trailer opens in a court with the introduction of Superman inside the place. Then we can watch Bruce Wayne's life shattered by past and present events.
Both Lois and Martha wants Clarke to be people's hero, people's angel. Then we have some images of Lex and Wonder Woman in action, and there we are. Superman versus Batman. "The fever, the Rage that turns good men, cruel". The movie will hit the theatres on March 25th, 2016.
Batman vs Superman is directed and written by Watchmen's Zack Snyder and will star Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, to name some.
Filming concluded on December 2014, in Detroit, Michigan.
The Film will deal with Henry Cavill's Superman's fight against Ben Affleck's Batman, with the DC Universe - and Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman involved as well in the middle. We will be introduced to the new Affleck's Batman and the new Eisenberg's Luthor. Apparently Affleck will star and write a new stand-alone movie about the Gotham City's Vigilante. We literally can not wait.
