Jagga Jasoos directedby Anurag Basu pairs Ranbir Kapoor opposite his real lifesweetheart Katrina Kaif in the most awaited movie of 2015. Ranbir and Katrinaplay young love birds in the movie and it happens to their most awaited Film together. However, looking at the constant delays it has been facing due tovarying reasons including script changes, production hiccups, and now rain;it looks like Ranbir and Katrina fans will have to wait longer for the release.It is to be noted that Jagga Jasoos isRanbir’s first Bollywood co-production with Anurag Basu.
The problems began with the schedules of the actors not matching up so the shoot had to be postponed. This was followedby script issues which further delayed the shoot and the production process.Following this, the whole movie schedule had to be altered resulting to ashooting schedule which now seems to be lost in transition. On the cast front, reportssuggest that Govinda, who was supposed to play Ranbir’s father in the movie, leftthe movie as he was upset with the makers. Now the directors are hunting for a new actor toreplace Govinda and proceed with the shoot.
The movie matters to Ranbir Kapoor not just because he's been paired with his real life love Katrina Kaif, but also because Ranbir receiveda lot of flak for his last release BombayVelvet.
While this time around everything on the production and script wassorted, rain was a big spoiler.
Another concern with the movie is that over 60% of it wasreshot, thus adding to the already long time it is taking to be made. Itwas apparently reshot because some parts resembled the storytelling style of OmPrakash Mehra’s next film called Mirziya.
Jagga Jasoos is going to be on the linesof being a musical and Mirziya too isa movie in which the protagonists express themselves through singing. Right nowall Ranbir and Katrina fans want is for the movie to quickly complete the shoot,release on time and become a smashing hit. The much awaited Ranbir-Katrinawedding bells will have to wait a bit longer to ring as it is known that the marriageannouncement if any will happen only post JaggaJasoos release.
