The vehicle was travelling at around 55 mph (88 km/hr) at the time and the caption says it all.

Cat gets into an embarrassing and precarious position

Jenn Teeter works at a daycare centre in Montana and was making breakfast for the kids. She suddenly saw an orange blur out of the corner of her eye. Loki, her cat, had jumped from a shelf into a small hole above the door, left over from when a vent was removed. He had been fascinated by the hole for some time. However, he got stuck and had to be rescued. Teeter said he was “confused, happy and proud” to get up there.
