Samantha Markle, Meghan Markle's half-sister, is back at it with her comments only days after the royal wedding. She talked to The Sun about her father's absence from her half sister's wedding and how he didn't receive a coat of arms the same way the Middleton family did when Kate Middleton married Prince William. She said "To exclude him off a coat of arms is really stripping him of an honor and it’s a huge insult." as a response to the decision.

Royals are not superior to Markles

Thomas Markle, aged 73, had heart problems in the previous weeks after the staged paparazzi picture scandal.

Last week he went through heart surgery as he needed stents inserted into his heart. He was medically advised against traveling to the UK for the wedding. Because of this health issue, he couldn't attend his daughter's wedding. Samantha Markle was not happy with her father being excluded from the coat of arms because of his health issue, saying that "After a heart attack that would be cruel and isolating."

Samantha Markle also stated the fact that the Royal Family had their share of scandals, and that they don't have the right to see the Markles as "not worthy." She gave examples of the royal scandals from previous years, as an argument to the fact that the royal family is not superior to the Markle family.

"You’ve got inbreeding, you’ve got substance abuse, you’ve got alcohol abuse, you’ve got infidelity," she said to The Sun, questioning the grounds that made royal family superior to them. She said that was "the pot calling the kettle black."

Mr. Markle watched the ceremony on TV

Although Mr. Markle missed out from personally attending the royal wedding, he watched the ceremony from his friend's house in California.

He was seen for the first time since his daughter's wedding on the afternoon of Monday 21 May, while returning to his house. He was seen when his friend Lori Davies, 38, was driving him back to his cliff-top home in Rosarito Beach, 10 miles south of Tijuana in northern Mexico.

Thomas Markle talked to TMZ about missing the wedding and his reactions to seeing his daughter get married.

He stated that he "deeply regretted" not being able to be there for her daughter but that he was very happy for Meghan. He also stated that the ceremony was beautiful and that he got reminded of Meghan's childhood. He said, "When you watch your child get married, every thought goes through your mind, every memory from the first day she was born, the first time I held her."

Mr. Markle couldn't be at Windsor castle to tell Meghan how much he loved her himself, so he texted it after watching the wedding on TV. He concluded with his best wishes to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, saying that he hoped to see the couple after their honeymoon.
