Windies likely to stick to the same side

Chris Gayle's sudden change of plan about retirement will more certainly make sure that West Indies will not change their opening combination. With the last ODI getting washed off, their line-up didn't get a game. This means West Indies is more likely to stick with the same side.

Focus on Shreyas Iyer as he takes the challenge of No. 4

India went in with Ravindra Jadeja and Yuzvendra Chahal in the first ODI along with three seamers. If there is some help for the spinner then India could bring in Kuldeep Yadav at the expense of Khaleel Ahmed or Jadeja. But it is more likely that India will stick to the same combination as it gives them more balance with Jadeja batting at no.

7.

The pitch in Trinidad has something for both the seamers and spinners. The weather seems much better than Guyana and we can hope for a full game. There are chances though that the weather will be partially cloudy. The pitch is good for batting but a score of 250+ could be challenging for the team batting second.
