Team News:

Indian wicketkeeper Rishab Panth's match-winning knock of 64 runs was a good sign for India. It hints at the returns of the hard-hitting left-hander's form with the bat.

He did not have much to contribute in the recently concluded ICC World Cup in England.

West Indies will have to choose between Evin Lewis and John Campbell at the top to partner Chris Gayle. He is 12 short of Brian Lara's 10,405 ODI runs, the most by a Windies batsman.

Pitch and weather report

With a few morning showers predicted on Thursday at Providence, the team winning the toss and bowling first will have its advantages. If the team batting first could post a good total, chasing on this slow track could be a challenge for the team batting second.
