Rishabh Pant in line for a spot

MS Dhoni has been rested for the last two games and Rishabh Pant, the reserve wicket-keeper in the squad, will surely come into the side.

According to the Cricbuzz report, batting coach Sanjay Bangar said that the side should make some changes from the Ranchi ODI. Mohammad Shami suffered a niggle in the previous game, which might force India to go in with Bhuvaneswar Kumar instead. Yuzvendra Chahal, who has been sitting out for the series so far might also feature in this game in place of Ravindra Jadeja.

Coulter-Nile flies back home

Nathan Coulter-Nile has flown back home due to the birth of his child and that leaves Australia with very little to think about changes. Jhye Richardson and Patrick Cummins bowled well, but Nathan Lyon's position remains at stake. If he is left out, Jason Behrendorff will come into the side. If Australia gives a break to Shaun Marsh, D Arcy Short may feature in the side.

The pitch in Mohali is good for batting, but batsmen may struggle slightly due to the longer boundaries.

The temperatures should be in the mid-20s and there won't be any hindrance of rain. The weather forecast may not play a huge part in the proceedings. With the series on the line, both the teams should have an intense battle.
