Cottrell likely to get considered

Sheldon Cottrell, who is in the squad for his good performances in the Bangladesh series previously, could come into contention for getting picked in this ODI.

If he may take the place of Carlos Braithwaite, who didn't bowl too well in the first ODI. Cottrell's entry would actually posses a new set of challenge for the English batsmen, but their batting might just lose some strength. Alzarri Joseph could also make way into the side replacing Ashley Nurse.

Willey and Curran under the radar

Alex Hales will have to sit out once again as England might not mess too much with the XI.

The current selection process suggests that Hales, for now, isn't the part of their first world cup XI. The team management could turn to David Willey for coming into the side as his left-arm bowling will surely be something to test the Windies' batsmen with. Tom Curran could also be considered as the English team eyes towards the World Cup later this year.

According to the Cricbuzz report, a brand new pitch will be used for the second game which could help the bowlers slightly more, but the batting conditions will still be their same.

The wicket is likely to produce another high-scoring match on Friday and the short boundaries will also assist the batsmen to hit the ball with the cool breeze passing by the ground. The temperatures won't be too harsh making it a day great for playing cricket.
