Ishant Sharma has been ruled out of the fourth and the last Test between Australia and India which will start on January 3, 2019, in Sydney. India is leading the Border-Gavaskar trophy 2018-19 2-1 after winning the first and the third Tests. Australia won the second Test and would be desperate to win the final Test to draw the series.

Meanwhile, all the spinners, Kuldeep Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja, and Ravichandran Ashwin have been named in the squad.
According to ESPN Cricinfo, Ashwin hasn't entirely recovered from his injury and his selection been discussed on the morning of the Test.
Labuschagne called in
Marnus Labuschagne was added to the Australian squad after the defeat in Melbourne. The batting all-rounder could take the place of Mitchell Marsh in the XI if the Sydney pitch favors the spinners even a bit.
Rest of the side should be the same as the one in the previous Test.
The Sydney pitch is often termed as one of flattest pitches in the country. There is some hype around the pitch being spin-friendly, but that mystery is yet to be uncovered. The weather forecast predicts sunny weather for the first two days while a bit of rain is predicted on day three, four and five.
