Kiwis look to dominate the visitors again
New Zealand's performance was good in the Wellington Test, but the rain on day five meant they couldn't seal the match. Matt Henry could come into the side for this game. If Henry is drafted in, Ajaz Patel might have to sit out. Other than this, the Kiwi unit is expected to play the same XI.
Dushmantha Chameera has an excellent record in New Zealand and could be considered for this Test. Kasun Rajitha was not able to pick a single wicket in Wellington which might force the visitors to keep him out. Rest of side won't have any changes, but the batting needs to be strong if Sri Lanka wants to stand a chance in front of the hosts.
Overcast conditions are expected on the first couple of days. The temperature will be under 20 making it even more cold for the visitors. On a green pitch in Christchurch, the ball will tend to seam and swing a bit more, making it difficult for the batsmen.
