No. 6 an issue for Kohli
There are a couple of decisions which captain Virat Kohli might be scratching his head upon. Prithvi Shaw's injury has paved the way for Murli Vijay's comeback into the team after the senior pro was dropped mid-series in England earlier this year.
India hasn't yet made a decision on who their No. 6 batter will be. There is a three-way battle between Hanuma Vihari, Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja. While the inclusion of Jadeja seems the most unlikely possibility, his bowling could be crucial after the third day in Adelaide.

Marcus Harris is likely to debut for Australia, while Usman Khawaja will shift to no.3 after opening in the series against Pakistan.
The Marsh brothers are likely to feature in the middle-order while Travis Head might also get a nod for this game. Australia will once again follow the four-bowler strategy with Starc, Hazlewood, Cummings and the lone-spinner Lyon.
The Adelaide Oval pitch has been flat over the years but in recent times the day-night Tests have spiced up the matches at this venue.
With this game being a day Test, we might see another flat surface with some wear and tear after the fourth day. The weather is expected to be bright and sunny throughout the Test match with no threat of rain.
