It will be a dead rubber when Pakistan clash with Australia in the third and final T20I at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai on Sunday, October 28, 2018. The match will start at 8:00 PM Local, 9:00 PM PST.

Pakistan has already claimed the series after winning the first two games. Pakistan beat Australia in the first game in Abu Dhabi by 66 runs and followed it up with another 11 runs win in Dubai on Friday.

Australia, on the other hand, has failed to win a single game against Pakistan on this tour so far, losing the Test series prior to the T20s, 1-0.

Captain Sarfaraz Ahmed might look to try some of his youngsters for this game. Usman Khan and Hussain Talat might get an opportunity to play if Pakistan decides to rest a few players.

Ideally, Pakistan would want to play a full-strength side and take the series 3-0.

Australia playing for some pride

Australia has very little that they can do. Their bowling unit has adjusted well to the conditions, but their batting has just let them down twice in the series. The top-order has not got them off to a good start putting a lot of pressure on the middle and lower order batsmen.

The only bright spot for them from the last game was Glenn Maxwell's fifty. It will require some self-awareness for the batsmen score runs in these conditions.

According to Cricbuzz, Aaron Finch was appointed the ODI captain on a Saturday, so he would be keen to deliver a good performance before the side heads back home for a long summer.

The track in Dubai will be slow as it was in the second T20I. The ball will turn and scoring runs won't be so for the batsmen.

The only way it might get easier for the batsmen is if there is some dew making the ball soggy. Even though, the game is in the evening the conditions are expected to be hot and humid.
