The Reds are ready to continue without Thomas Lemar.
Liverpool has made a massive decision regarding their chase for the French International star, 22-year-old Thomas Lemar.
According to the reports in the Liverpool Echo, The Reds are no longer interested in signing the player, this means he is no longer a part of their summer Transfer signing list.
The Reds showed their interest in the Monoco star as a perfect replacement for Philippe Coutinho, who was sold to Barcelona for 142 M in a massive deal in January.
#LFC cool interest in Thomas Lemar. No longer a target as Klopp looks at other options for the summer. https://t.co/ySURqLhAjY

Arsenal and Liverpool both in the race
The young French star caught both Arsenal’s and Liverpool’s attention when he scored 14 amazing goals and assisted 17 helping Monaco to win Ligue 1 Title to reach the semifinals last season.
According to the Liverpool Echo, their sporting director Michael Edwards held talks with the Monaco club about the player but both ends failed to meet.
Increased asking price amid interest from both clubs
The interest in Lemar from both of the Premier League clubs bumped up the winger’s asking price as he refused to sign a new deal with the French club.
After the news erupted that Arsenal is ready to put a higher price offer Liverpool decided it was better to back off and use the money somewhere else where they have better opportunities.
The Reds apparently quoted £90M pounds in January.
Arsene Winger was also keeping the watch on the 22-year-old but he refrained from placing a formal bid.
With Liverpool backing off there is a better chance for Arsenal to place their offer and hopefully, this deal will be finalised in the summer transfer.
Fans Reaction
The Liverpool fans greeted this news of Liverpool cooling off their interest in Lemar with mixed reactions. Most of the fans took it in a positive and optimistic attitude.
The fans were happy before when he rejected the deal with the French club but Lemar failed to impress the audience this season as he only scored 3 goals and 5 assists in total 23 appearances.
Most of them believe that 90 M price tag is a bit overrated.
This shouldn’t be uppsetting to anyone, there are surely better players available for the price Monaco demand for him

Better options – a Real Madrid star?
The fans are now hopeful that Jurgen Klopp's focus is now on more attractive options. A real Madrid star, in particular, Isco.
But according to the latest reports Zinedine Zidane wants Isco at Real Madrid forever and is not letting him go out of his sight.
The early closing of the transfer window and with the World Cup looming the clubs are now under pressure to seal the deals as soon as they can.
