The Premier League action lasts for 10 months every season starting from August till May every year and within these months the player of the Month award is given to the best players in that particular month based on performances.
In view of this fact, we noticed that you may have forgotten which player(s) that won these awards since the start of the 2016/2017 premier league season in August, 2016.
Similarly, we have arranged a list to also provide you with details to whom or which player we think would win the Player of the season award based on their performances on monthly basis.

Manchester City's Raheem Sterling produced two goals and one assist in the opening month of the season with his promising displays. He also won a penalty on the opening day of the season.

January, 2017 - Dele Alli (Tottenham FC):
We had to wait for four months to see the 2015/2016 young player of the year claim this award as he netted five times and grabbed an assist in an unbeaten month for Tottenham Hotspur.
February, 2017 - Harry Kane (Tottenham FC):
With Tottenham Hotspur in their best form, Harry Kane upped his game as he scored four goals in three Premier league fixtures, including a hat-trick against Stoke City.
March, 2017 - Romelu Lukaku (Everton FC):
What seems to be a very disappointing season for Everton, Lukaku found the back of the net four times in March and provided two assists in three Premier League fixtures.
April, 2017 - Son Heung-min (Tottenham FC):
After breaking the Asian record, Son grabbed his second PL player of the month award last month, netting five times and providing one assist in Tottenham Hotspur's six wins in April.
With the above list of players and how they fared in the past nine months. Son Heung-min of Tottenham Hotspur FC is the only to have won the Player of the Month award twice (August, 2016 and April, 2017) - which makes him a good fit to compete for the Player of the Season award.
