#Chelsea manager #Antonio Conte has said tomorrow's #FA Cup match against Brentford is a chance for his fringe players to shine. Speaking at his weekly press conference from Chelsea's training ground at Cobham, Conte confirmed that several of his squad players will be given the opportunity to impress him.

Among those players mentioned was Dutchman Nathan Ake. The 21 year-old's season-long loan at AFC Bournemouth was cut short by Conte after a string of fine performances at the heart of the Cherries defence.

"Ake can play in various positions", Conte told the journalists. "He can play at centre back or at wing-back. Tomorrow is an opportunity to show me that he can adapt to our style and that he has improved."

'Begovic will start'

There could also be starts for Ake's fellow defender Kurt Zouma whilst midfielders Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Nathaniel Chalobah are also expected to play some part. Belgian striker Michy Batshuayi could lead the line as Chelsea look to avoid an upset against Championship opposition that would leave them playing just for the Premier League this season.

Conte also confirmed that Asmir Begovic will start tomorrow's match.

The Bosnian goalkeeper has been subject of a £10 million bid from Bournemouth, but his manager has made it clear he would like him to stay: "I repeat that Begovic is a Chelsea player and I am very happy to have him in the squad. I like his behaviour out on the pitch and he is important in the dressing room."

Begovic's failure to displace Thibaut Courtois as number one has led to him making just four appearances this season, all in cup competitions. There is speculation he wants to leave for first team football. "We are open to help him if there is an opportunity to replace him.
Only if we have a good replacement he can go. If not, he stays here."

'Important trophy

The Premier League leaders beat Peterborough 4-1 in the third round whilst Brentford earned their place in the fourth round with a thumping 5-1 win over non league side Eastleigh.

It is one of nine Premier League versus lower league ties in the fourth round. "You know more than me but anything can happen if you don't play with right concentration or focus. It is an important trophy we want to win", Conte said.

Chelsea's last meeting with the Bees was also in the #FA Cup fourth round back in 2013. Juan Mata, Oscar, Frank Lampard and John Terry were on target in a 4-0 replay victory at Stamford Bridge following a 2-2 draw at Griffin Park.
