Keep Mahrez

The newly crowned PFA player of the year has had a massive breakout season which would have attracted the attention of bigger European clubs. With no disrespect to Leicester, they may find it hard to keep hold of theplayer who has racked up 18 Goals and 11 Assists this season. However, what mayplay in Leicesters favour is theprice theyplace on Riyad Mahrez, a number around the region of 40 million+ has been quoted by the press. This might deter other clubs who would want to see if Mahrez can repeat his exploits before shelling out such a huge sum.

Bigger squad

Leicester will be competing in the Champions League and after this seasons exploits, they might even win the whole thing. Thepressure of four competitions, however will take its toll on their small squad. The club will not want to risk sliding down the league as their squad is decimated by injuries. Leicester should look to spend in the summer to bring in adequate squad cover that can allow them to ensure they remain competitive in the league and other competitions.

Change up in tactics

Leicester benefited from the surprise element this season. Many teamsplayed an open, expansive game against the Foxes which allowed their counter attacking game to thrive. This may not happen next season as many teams will be happy to sit back toprevent theirpacyplayers such as Vardy and Okazaki from making runs in behind.

Leicester will need to learn how to deal with having morepossession and breaking down teamsparked on the edge of the box.

Deal with thepressure

Thepressure that Leicester will face next season will be on another level compared to anything they've experienced before. Fans may temper their expectations due to the anomaly that this season was, however they will be disappointed if Leicester failed to replicate some of the heights they reached this season.

The spotlight from the footballing work will firmly be resting on Leicester to see how they build on winning the title. It will be interesting to see how theplayers deal with the exposure, whether they will thrive or wilt. Based on this season, it looks to be the former.
