Next weekend will see the live X Factor finals hit our screens in the hope of finding the UK's next budding superstar or supergroup, this year has been one of the closest competitions to date - featuring some of the best talents the show has had in years with many of the acts opting to sing their own original songs.
Final Six:
Here are the six semi-finalists who will be competing for your votes this weekend on ITV.
- Matt Linnen - The Essex born plasterer has been a huge hit with the ladies this year and is constantly in the news about which girl he is talking to next - the latest being TOWIE star Chloe Sims. He has been one of the stand out performers in his category 'the overs' this year and has clearly got the backing from the public. He has a unique rasp to his voice, unlike anything the show has heard before and is able to put his own spin on any song given to him. He is a clear contender for this years final - let's hope he doesn't let himself done on his semi-final night.
- Kevin Davy White - Kevin is a full-time musician and songwriter from Paris currently residing in London. He has been able to showcase his many talents through his time on the x Factor stage, as well as showing off his impressive vocal abilities has also wowed us with his guitar and piano playing skills. Typically on the X Factor, contestants who aren't originally from the UK don't tend to do as well as maybe they should do, but, it looks like Kevin is showing us that this is no longer that case, and could potentially go all the way and win this year's competition.
- Lloyd Macey - Wales born Lloyd has managed to wow viewers week on week with his impressive vocals, even going as far as winning one of the weeks showdowns and landing him the prize of supporting Little Mix on their Glory Days tour when they perform at Manchester Arena. No-one can deny that Lloyd is a truly great singer but has also been told a few times that he is quite an old-fashioned performer despite only being 23 years old performing the likes of Celine Dion, I wonder if he will experiment on the semi-finals and show us all something unexpected and prove he can be current.
- Rak-Su - They have amazed us all from their very first audition and have yet to slip, they have performed a string of original hits that could all easily be featured in the UK top 10 charts and actually have done. They know how to put on a great show and smash every performance (a quick personal opinion of mine is that I think all their original songs seem to blend into one and all kind of sound the same, but thats just my opinion) I wonder if we will ever seem something like a ballad from the group to show everyone that they can do a lot more than rap and dance across the X Factor stage - I suppose time will tell, although I do think they stand a very good chance of winning this year!
- The Cutkelvins - This Scottish group formed by two brothers and a sister, the other group still in the running for the winners spot. They have definitely grown from the first time we saw them in the audition room and even then they amazed us with their rendition of Beyonce's and Naughty Boys hit 'Runnin' (Lose It All)'. Last week, they even sang their own original song for 'Songs About Love' week and really stole the show showing us that not only are they fantastic singer and performers but also stand out songwriters! a triple threat who could be the dark horses of this season, everyone, better watch out!
- Grace Davies - This 20-year-old Lancashire songbird has already been viewed millions and millions of times on YouTube and has built a strong army of fans placing her in the top two of the weekend two out of four times and even won the very first week of live shows. Her original songs are unlike anything seen on the X Factor before and proves that she has a real talent for it and people absolutely love her songs, they have featured in the UK top 10 iTunes chart week on week, she is a true stand out from the year whether she wins or not, she is going to be huge and has the potential to be one of the X Factor's biggest success stories along with One Direction and Little Mix. Let's hope she smashed the semi-finals!
