Arie Luyendyk Jr. who is the new star of "The Bachelor" has been seen in photographs filming for the new explosive season of the reality TV series. The pictures show Luyendyk Jr. and his contestants being filmed whilst taking part in a group date. According to the Daily Mail, during the date, Bachelor Luyendyk Jr. and the contestants participated in a racing event which was at the Ventura County Fairgrounds in Ventura, California. The new season is set to air sometime in January 2018, but no specific air date has been released to the public just of yet.
The group date
A racing date may sound weird to you, but that concept isn’t strange at all to The bachelor of the season, Luyendyk Jr. You see, the gentleman is actually a professional race car driver so I have to say that this first date seems to suit him just fine. The professional racer probably wanted to go on this date because he wanted to see if any of the contestants could keep up with his lifestyle. Let's hope the ladies can keep up with this bachelor and his intense activities.
The racing event itself was a demolition derby. In the photographs, you can see "The Bachelor" and his contestants dressed up in racing gear. This is as they are about to or have already taken part in the demolition derby.
It is worth mentioning that we don’t know the names of the girls just yet. However, a there are quite a few of them, and they all want to win the heart of this Bachelor.

A demolition derby for a group date does not sound bad - so good choice Bachelor Luyendyk Jr!
After all, there have been much worse group dates on "The Bachelor." Who could forget the rap battle? The fake wedding ceremony? That just plain creepy Sports Illustrated swimsuit photoshoot?
Arie Luyendyk Jr’s. reality television history
Luyendyk Jr. is no stranger to dating reality television shows as he took part in the eighth season of "The Bachelorette." He and other contestants were trying to win the love of Emily Maynard.
The race car driver came in second place, as Maynard sent him home early because she chose one of his friend's, entrepreneur Jeff Holm as the winner. It is worth mentioning here that dating reality television shows have been great platforms for stars to grow their social media presence. This is proven to be true as Kaitlyn Bristowe was first introduced as a Bachelorette and now she is a celebrity you need to follow on Snapchat.
Currently, there is no specific release date as all we know is that the show will premiere sometime in January 2018. This is the twenty-second season of the show, and again it will star Bachelor Arie Luyendyk Jr. who is a race car driver from Scottsdale, Arizona. "The Bachelorette" will also be returning in the 2017/2018 season.
