Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are reportedly taking their relationship to a whole new level as rumours suggest that the two were secretly married this year. The Hollywood couple, who dated 2 years ago, decided to keep things as private as possible, which is why they held the special occasion at Stefani’s home in Los Angeles. What could be the reason for their immediate decision to marry?
Stefani and Shelton wanted to keep everything private
As reported by Hollywood Life, Stefani and Shelton made their relationship official while inviting few of their closest friends and family members in the latter’s backyard.
It was told that the said ceremony was too intimate for a celebrity and was even tagged as “super low key”.
Despite her famous stature in the spotlight, Stefani didn’t want to impress all the visitors through her glamorous wedding gown. Instead, she wanted to focus her big day through sharing all the love to her groom as well as her children, Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo. However, the singer is still stunning with her cream gown that suits well with Shelton’s country-style look.
Gwen’s boys approved of their mum and Shelton’s decision
Not just that, insiders told that Shelton decided to give Gwen’s boys a present through bracelets, which features their family in stick figures. The said present made Stefani really happy as it confirms her right decision in marrying “The Voice” coach.
The couple is also planning to have their second wedding in a church this year, after their alleged private wedding. It was then told that they would begin to invite some of their closest friends in the industry including Carson Daly, Adam Levine, and Alicia Keys.
“The Voice” Season 13 update: Hudson enters the show
Meanwhile, Blake Shelton would be busier this year as “The Voice” Season 13 is all set to premiere on September 25.
Shelton would be joined by some of the returning coaches on the show, including Adam Levine and Miley Cyrus. Other than them, Jennifer Hudson is all pumped up to join the reality show to brew fresh talents in the industry.
The fourth instalment of the show is already prepared as Kelly Clarkson will replace Miley during the said season.
Shelton, in an interview, admitted that the “American Idol” champion couldn’t stop talking all day. The country singer even jokingly admitted his thankfulness that Miley and Clarkson are in different seasons.
