The year is coming to an end, and the review of previous months makes it clear that most of the movies did very good business at the box office. 'High-Rise'
“High-Rise” was released in 2015. This British science fiction movie’s director is Ben Wheatley. It stars Tom Hiddleston, Jeremy Irons, Sienna Miller, Luke Evans, and Elisabeth Moss. The producer of this flick is Jeremy Thomas, and it was released under the banner of the Recorded Picture Company.

"Knight of Cups” is one of the best films of this year. The writer and director of this American movie is Terrence Malick. The producers are Nicolas Gonda, Sarah Green, and Ken Kao. The story has been inspired from the 16th century’s Christian allegory "The Pilgrim's Progress." This movie was premiered at the “65th Berlin International Film Festival” in February 2015.
It received mixed reviews on Rotten Tomatoes. Its story is about a screenwriter who lives in Los Angeles. He is successful in his career, but is not satisfied with his lifestyle. The movie has been gracefully divided into eight chapters, each of which is named after a tarot card. Christian Bale, Cate Blanchett, Natalie Portman, Brian Dennehy, and Antonio Banderas have played the leading roles.
'Deadpool'
Released in the first half of 2016, “Deadpool” is one of the most successful films of this year. Its director is Tim Miller, and the screenplay writers are Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. The story is based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. It features Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, Ed Skrein, T.J. Miller, Gina Carano, Leslie Uggams, Brianna Hildebrand, and Stefan Kapičić.
“Deadpool” was premiered in Paris in February 2016. It has received positive reviews from critics. It is about Wade Wilson, a former officer. He comes across an escort named Vanessa, and falls in love with her. He decides to propose that lady but she refuses, and this makes him feel sad.
