Ever wonder what do pets do when their owners are not at home? What do they do, what goes on while their owners are away and how much trouble they are getting into without anyone watching. "Any plans today? I've got big plans. I'm going to sit here and wait for Katie to come back.", says one of the pets in the just released trailer from the movie "The Secret Life of Pets".
The forthcoming movie of Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures, after the huge success of "Despicable Me" series and "The Minions", gives a comic and adorable look to that question.
The first trailer of the newest "The Secret Life of Pets" is out and from what can be seen so far, the movie is about the story of several different pets (dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, and so on) in an apartment complex during a day when their owners are away, showing them in hilariously situations and their quirky personalities.
According to IMDb page, the movie takes place in a Manhattan apartment building. Max's life as a favourite pet is turned upside down, when his owner brings home a sloppy mongrel named Duke. They have to put their quarrels behind when they find out that an adorable white bunny named Snowball is building an army of abandoned pets determined to take revenge on all happy-owned pets and their owners.
"The Secret Life of Pets" is an upcoming american 3D computer animated comedy movie, produced by Illumination Entertainment. Directed by Chris Renaud ("Despicable Me" and "Despicable Me 2"), co-directed by Yarrow Cheney, and written by Brian Lynch, Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio, featuring the comedy superstar Louis C.K., Eric Stonestreet and Kevin Hart.
When carefully listening to the trailer, it is possible to notice that System of a Down's song "Bounce" is part of the soundtrack. On a funny scene there is a poodle at home listening to classical music, as soon as its owner leaves, he immediately changes to System of a Down and completely rocks the place out. Another song used is Basement Jaxx's swinging upbeat song "Do Your Thing".
Universal will release "The Secret Life of Pets" in theatres next summer, starting July 8th, 2016.
