Well he is hot, he is stronger than you can think; he is Rock. And with his latest movie Furious 7 breaking all records, Rock is not only on the ninth cloud but he is also everywhere doing a lot of interesting things; and we are not complaining since it's a delight.
It was a grand return of Luke Hobbs on this weekend when Rock (Dwayne Johnson) appeared on the very first episode of 'Lip Sync Battle' which is the latest spin off of the 'Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon' game. The show is hosted LL Cool J. and in the opening episode itself he challenged the legendary Dwayne to a battle, and later realized that challenging the legend in any arena is never a good idea.
Dwayne Johnson was competing against Jimmy Fallon who had to his help a full choir.
Dwayne Johnson totally nailed Taylor Swift's "Shake it off". Dressed in his trademark tight muscle friendly T-shirt, he stormed through the song while the makers and the host LL Cool J. looked in awe and dismay.
While Dwayne nailed his song, Fallon performed on Madonna's "Like a Prayer" and he too did a good job at it but was not as good as Dwayne. Taylor Swift helped Dwayne totally smash his very first attempt at the Lip Sync Battle. The preview which is the first clip to be out shows Dwayne swiftly moving through the song, John Krasinski ripping his shirt off, Jimmy with his whole choir and much more.
It is noteworthy that Dwayne not only sang the song with utmost ease & style, he also danced a bit showing his swift moves. Even Jimmy Fallon did a gig with a dance performance which was clad with a robe and supporting dancers to add all the jazz to his act.
While in the episode Dwayne also did jazz on "Stayin' Alive" by Bees Gees, the high point of the preview clip is Jennifer Lopaz and Anna Kendrick coming together on one stage, but sadly their performance is not revealed in the preview.
Apart from these legends the show will star many big names in its forthcoming episodes, some of whom are Anne Hathaway, Mike Tyson, Emily Blunt, Queen Latifah, Terry Crews and Justin Bieber.
