Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton have released a new photoshoot of little prince George to offer their Christmas greetings to the nation. The three photos show the baby, almost 17 months old, seated on some stone steps in a courtyard at London's Kensington Palace. The shots were taken by Ed Lane Fox, Prince Harry's private secretary, who used to be a professional photographer. The royal couple is back from their voyage to United States, where they met president Obama, held a wreath at the September 11 Memorial and launched their new charity, United for Wildlife.
They also saw an Nba match together with Beyoncé.
The new trio of George's pictures has already gone viral, and all the world is now comparing little prince and his father William as toddlers. The rosy-cheeked prince is seen wearing black short pants, a collared shirt and a sweater vest designed with soldier guardsmen on the front.
In the meanwhile, Kate Middleton is now five months pregnant, as the second royal baby is expected at the end of April, 2015. The Duchess of Cambridge appears to have recovered from the severe vomiting condition, Hyperemesis Gravidarum, that plagued the early week of her pregnancy. With this Christmas gift, William and Kate also want to thank media for honoring their request for privacy.
Photographs of prince George are actually very rare and only "official".
What are William and Kate's plans for the next days? According to Vanity Fair, they will be spending Christmas at Anmer Hall for the first time. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will reportedly attend the dinner on Christmas Eve at Sandringham House, with the royal family, and go to a Christmas Day service the next morning.
In the evening, they will be having dinner at Anmer Hall with Kate's parents and her siblings Pippa and James (but without their respective dates, Nico Jackson and Donna Air). Will little prince George enjoy Christmas celebrations this year? Soon he will be an elder brother. Season greetings to the royal family!
