Kareena Kapoor Khan, who once advocated size zero body, is now aggressively highlighting the side effects of artificially getting a thin frame. The actress has been openly talking about inadvertent consumption of weight loss pills.

The popular Bollywood superstar who has worked in films such as 3 Idiots, Jab We Met, Bodyguard, Heroine and Chameli to name a few, has been talking about the harmful effects of pill intake to lose weight.

An active promoter of yoga and proportionate diet, Kareena had turned excessively thin during the shooting of the film Tashan. She feels that the youngsters should not rely on weight loss pills.

According to reports, a medicine brand has been advertising and selling the so-called 'miracle' weight loss pill by making use of Kareena's name. She broke her silence regarding the weight loss pill during her recent trip to UAE. The advertisement by the miracle pill claimed that the medicine was responsible for her incredible transformation, back in 2008. The actress reportedly learnt about the product and its misleading advertisement.

She is now planning to sue the brand that claims to melt extra fat from the body.

The actress claims to be a strong promoter of a healthy lifestyle, which includes exercising and eating right. She did pioneer a size zero frame for her character in Tashan, but has never undergone a surgery or taken help of medication. While shooting the film Golmaal, Kareena famously made the entire cast members learn a few tricks of power yoga to stay in shape.

She doesn't want her fans to get misleading information as she is firmly against any artificial intake that can harm the body. Her team will be sending a legal notice to the brand and the website that are making these claims.

After the successful film Singham Returns, directed by Rohit Shetty, Kareena is now focussing on her upcoming film Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

Directed by Kabir Khan, Bajrangi Bhaijaan features Kareena opposite Salman Khan. The film about a Hindu-Muslim romance also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and is ready for release in July 2015.
