England is all set to take on Australia in a one-off T20I match on Wednesday, June 27, 2018. The match is scheduled to begin at 4:30 PM GMT or 11:00 PM IST. The venue for this game is set to be the Edgbaston cricket ground in Birmingham. England thrashed Australia 5-0 in the recently concluded ODI series.
England have decided to get Jos Buttler at the top of the order after his performance in the IPL 2018. He will open the innings with Jason Roy, so it is excepted that Jonny Bairstow will bat in the lower order. Chris Jordan will come into the side, while the rest of the team will be same as the one which played the one-day games against Australia recently.
England players will be pumping with confidence after the dominance they have shown against Australia recently. England's recent record at Edgbaston against the old enemy is excellent. They have not been beaten there by Australia across all formats since 2001.

ESPNCricinfo quoted Paul Farbrace, England's interim coach as saying of Jos Buttler, "He will open tomorrow. In 120 balls in an innings, you want to get your best strikers facing as many balls as possible."
Australia: For them, a win in this T20I would mean that they go home with something to be happy about, as they have failed to win a single game on this tour.
Batsman Glenn Maxwell should return to the side after missing the final two ODIs with a shoulder injury.
Led by Aaron Finch, they have a good side which the selectors have picked based on big, bash performances. Glenn Maxwell has recovered and will return to the XI, while Tim Paine is expected to keep wicket. Micheal Swepson might also make it to the side.
England are fifth in the International Cricket Council's T20 rankings, three places behind Australia.

Pitch and conditions
The pace and bounce on the Edgbaston wicket have allowed no respite for the bowlers at this venue in recent times. Runs will flow and bowlers will face a problem in controlling the batsmen. We can expect another high scoring game in the English conditions.
The temperatures will be around 25°C during the evening, but there are no reports of any rain.
