The movie performed extremely well at the Indian box office until now. It is the first movie to cross Rs 350 and Rs 375 crores mark in the India. The total collections of the movie until Feb. 1st, 2017 were expected to be close to Rs 387 crores nett and the gross amount is Rs 541.8 crores.
After the release of two Bollywood biggies 'Raees' and 'Kaabil', the collections of the 'Dangal' at the ticket window are slowed down and as per the Trade experts, 'Dangal might collect close to Rs 390 to 395 crores nett in its total run at the ticket window.
'Dangal' overseas collection
The film grossed Rs 200 crores mark from the International market and it minted close to Rs 204 crores gross until now. The movie might end up collecting between Rs 205 to 210 crores gross in the final run.
'Dangal' worldwide collection
The film collected Rs 745.8 crores gross worldwide. Going by the trend, the movie might collect between Rs 750 to 770 crores gross in its total run at the ticket window.
Nonetheless, the movie missing 400 crore mark at the Indian markets and Rs 800 crores gross worldwide is a huge disappoint for the fans of Aamir Khan. Even the Trade experts predicted the movie to create a sensation by entering Rs 1000 crores club but unfortunately, 'Dangal' didn't extend the market of Indian Cinema as Aamir Khan's previous movie 'PK' also grossed Rs 700 crore club in 2014 itself.
