Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is only supposed to come out to the cinemas in November 2016. So, a whole year to wait still. But, with a fandom as big as the Harry Potter one, is never too early to start revealing details and advertising.
The public'scrave for new information was easedwiththe release of the official logo a few days ago. But what everyone was really curious aboutwas how oscar-winning actor (awarded for The Theory of Everything) Eddie Redmayne would look inside the detailed and rich world that J. K. Rowling created.
And, at last,Entertainment Weekly decided to break the suspense with this week issue.The cover portrays the official debut of Redmayne as Newt Scamander, a Magizoologist that will be the hero of this Harry Potter prequel.
Set in the roaring twenties, the wizard displays a blue coat and a bow tie, and helds his wand and suitcase with a fierce look.
Focusing in the outfit, this is also the first look we have on the work of Colleen Atwood in this film. The artist was nominated several times for Best Costume Design by the Academy, winning three times with her fantastic creations for Chicago, Memoirs of a Gueisha and Alice in Wonderland.
This little treat to the exultant fans already brought a whole new range of questions. What sort of wand is that? What does he carry in that suitcase? Where in New York is he?
And why so many questions, might the people who have not read Fantastic Beasts ask... The truth is, this time, the Harry Potter's books fans know as much as the most commonmuggle.
The book, written by J. K. Rowling and released in 2001, is an anthology about all the magic creatures that inhabit the wizarding world. And is supposed to be written by the hero, Newt Scamander, during the '20 decade in New York, as a record of all the amazing discoveries he made. So the fans indeed know what creatures canappear, but they know nothing about the story plot.
For now, the movie is still being filmed. So the potterheadsout there will just have to wait for new information and hints on the story and adventures of Newt Scamander.
