“In the Shadow of the Moon” tells the story of a Philadelphia police officer in 1988. He wants to become a detective and starts tracking a serial killer who crops up again every nine years. However, the serial killer’s crimes start defying all scientific explanation, leading to the cop’s obsession destroying his career, family and his sanity.
