Hillary clinton has made an appearance last night in NYC, for the UNICEF gala, presenting the pop singer Katy Perry with an award. The democrat appearance was a surprise and many did not know she was scheduled to attend the big party. Katy Perry was accompanied by her boyfriend Orlando Bloom, the actor has been a UNICEF ambassador for the past ten years. The singer said she is trying to use her fame to bring the attention to important causes and issues, and appeared shocked when Clinton presented her with the award.

Authorities in Wisconsin have mixed feelings about a recount

Clinton is participating in the vote recount led by green party's candidate Jill Stein. Authorities in Wisconsin against the recount claim it will be too time-consuming and impossible to get the recount done by the 12 December deadline, yet the green party member said she wants the votes to be recounted. Wisconsin Attorney General Brad Schimel has said he supports her request.

Donald Trump's reaction: from humor to anger

Trump's team has reacted oscillating from humor to anger saying it is a waste of time, and calling Stein a "cry baby" and "losers", trying to scam people from millions of dollars for a wasted cause. Stein was able to collect U$6 million via crowdfunding.

The president-elect said via his social media “This recount is just a way for Jill Stein, who received less than one percent of the vote overall and wasn’t even on the ballot in many states, to fill her coffers with money, most of which she will never even spend on this ridiculous recount”. Chief counsel to the Clinton campaign, Marc Elias said they would not have initiated the recount process because they did not find any signs of fraud or mistakes, but they will participate in the process since the green party has filed the request.

Stein also plans to request in other states, including Pennsylvania.

Trump's white house team selection is almost completed and he has threatened to prosecute Clinton if she follows with recount efforts.
