The South Korean tech company, Samsung, revealed it is working on a tablet called Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017). According to Sammobile the portal for firmware for Samsung smartphones and tablets, the new Samsung gadget will most likely be aimed at kids and as an entry-level device.
Recently, some of the tablet’s specifications were revealed on TENAA listing in China. Key features include:
- Powered by 1.4GHz Snapdragon
- 427 processor coupled with 2GB RAM
- 16GB of storage
- Features an 8MP rear
- 5MP Front Camera
In addition, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the box with Samsung's new UX on top.
Also, the South Korean tech company will now begin to feature its personal assistant Bixby on its tablet devices. Until now the Bixby was limited to the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus.
So now the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 will present a Samsung's in-house Bixby Home, however, the Bixby Voice characteristic has not been completely developed for tablets. The Bixby on tablets will be able to create reminders and the assistant’s Home Screen will contain other information, such as suggested content and actions.
Game Launcher feature
Another feature on Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is the Game Launcher, which is an application that shows the games downloaded from Google Play Store and the Galaxy Apps store. With the Game Launcher, you will be able to control the performance of the gadget by deciding if you wish to use high-performance and power-efficient modes while showing off the ability to record games and screenshots.
Also, Galaxy Tab A 8.0 features the improved system launcher, which enables you to swipe up the home screen in order to visualise all the apps that you have installed on your smartphone.
Furthermore, the South Korean tech company may soon release the Galaxy J7+ smartphone. The Chinese website Weibo published pictures of this new device and it is possible to see that the Galaxy J7+ will feature a dual-rear camera and a Bixby button on the left edge.
Although the Galaxy J7+ images are presented only in the Black colour variant, the smartphone might come in other colours as well.
Additionally, the report on the Weibo website shows that the Galaxy J7+ will present a 5.5-inch full HD display with 1080x1920p resolution. It will also provide a 32GB internal storage coupled with 4GB RAM.
When it comes to photography, the Galaxy J7+ camera will provide you with a 16MP front camera and a 13MP+5MP dual-rear camera. The smartphone design is made with a metal unibody and is powered by a 3,000mAh battery.
