jaguar F-PACE is a compact sport utility vehicle (SUV) that is practical and performs well in all kinds of terrain. It was designed based on the C-X17 concept car. It efficiency starts with its body made of light aluminum. The double wishbone suspension allows careful handling and control, while the adaptive dynamics evaluates terrain conditions and rectifies the driving experience. Assisted steering provides feedback based on a driver´s style. Adaptive dynamics modifies the driving conditions and driving style. All of this adds to practicality, capability and high performance.
Jaguar design
This car´s designed is based on the F-TYPE-genuine sports car. Its light aluminum body and aerodynamics combine to help economize on fuel calculated at 4.9 litres per 100 km and reduce CO2 emissions. . It adaptive headlights produce intense light that´s close to daylight allowing to appreciate what is in front. The interior leather decorated and an interior lighting system of different colors create the ambient that goes with your mood.
A panoramic windscreen and fixed or sliding roof top provide visibility and ample view of the environment and starts at night. The back seat accommodates three adults comfortable, with 945 mm rear leg and 65 mm knee space. The boot capacity is of 650 litres; however, it can be expanded to 1,740 litres by folding the seats.
It has a central consoled equipped with an inControl Touch Pro system, giving access to in car entertainment, satellite navigation , G meter and engine/gear, shift, steering, suspension parameters
Driving technology
All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system incorporates confident handling on all kinds of surfaces. A system of algorithms in the Intelligent Driveline Dynamics (IDD) record surface conditions and react to the road conditions, transferring torque to the front wheels.
On normal road conditions, the 100% of torque is passed to the rear wheels. Adaptive Surface Response (ASR) monitors the surrounding environment and adjust the car´s engine and break settings. The smooth lightweight underbody controls airflow, maximizing cooling of the engine, breaks and minimizing drag.
Performance
F-PACED can be driven with a choice of three powerful diesel or petro engines.
The engines are equipped with stop/start technology and intelligent regenerative charging, consisting on using brake power to recharge the battery. This Jaguar model may come with a 2.0 litre 4 cylinder Turbocharged Diesel engine all made of aluminum. The 3.0 litre V6 Turbocharged diesel engine increases the power to 300PS. It can reach the speed of 100 km/h in only 6.2 seconds. It´s available with all-wheel drive. The petrol engine 3.0 litre V6 comes in both 340PS and 380PS. At 380PS, the engine can attain 100 km/h in only 5.5 seconds.
