Apple fan are always searching news about Cupertino's new products: when are iPhone 6s and iPhone 7 coming out? And what features and design will they have? Here's all we can argue from latest rumours . iPhone 6 and 6c are going strong on the market (in a few months they have already broken all records set by previous models, 5c and 5s, securing the company a 40% market share in the United Kingdom, according to research firm Kantor Worldpanel ComTech) but Apple's developers are already working on new devices.
Let's start from the possible release dates.
According to most tech magazines, next year we will see a new iPhone - be it iPhone 6s or iPhone 7 . Many experts argue the iPhone 6s will be released in 2015 first quarter, while iPhone 7 will be presented in September. Others think the first model will come out in 2015 and the next in 2016.
The imagined new iPhone, according to rumours, features a reduction in size between the screen and the home button. The new smartphone could have a sapphire glass display : a rumour by China Economic Weekly suggests that Foxconn Technology Group, Apple's main iPhone assembly partner, plans to spend $2.6 billions on a sapphire plant in Taiwan. Apple is reportedly working on extensively improving the camera of its next smartphone, something that can take pictures of DSLR quality.
This feature would certainly be welcomed by Apple fans, as iPhone 6 has an 8 MP main camera while its main rival, Samsung Galaxy S5 has a 16 MP one. Next iPhone could also be powered by an A9 processor.
For Apple, 2015 will also be Apple iWatch's year: the smartwatch is probably coming out in the first quarter. Reports also say that the company is planning to discontinue the iPhone 4s and the iPhone 5c, stopping the production of these devices in the second half of 2015. As usual, Cupertino has not confirmed any of these rumours. But developers are working hard on new products, to try to win the ever-lasting "smartphone war" with its main competitor, Samsung.
