Pandya returns as India look for the right balance

India has formed a new-look T20 side coming into this series. Hardik Pandya has returned to the squad after missing the previous T20I series against West Indies.

His brother Krunal Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja are likely to be picked to boost the batting depth while Washington Sundar could be the third spinner. While this unit provides with a lot of batting depth, the question stands whether that's what is the need of the hour. Additionally, it would be interesting to see whether India go with KL Rahul ahead of Shikhar Dhawan or not.

Under pressure, Proteas look for a good start

Like India, South Africa also has a new-look squad for the T20Is.

Led by the new captain Quinton de Kock, the side doesn't have the experience of many players like Faf du Plessis, Hashim Amla, Imran Tahir and Dale Steyn. According to the Cricbuzz report, it has been confirmed by the coaching staff that Temba Bavuma will make his debut in the format on Sunday. The Proteas could go with one spinner in Tabraiz Shamsi.

The rain has been a constant in Dharamsala for the last few days. But it may not rain in the evening on Sunday. The forecast doesn't predict heavy rainfall. The pitch at this ground has always been good and some dew later in the innings could also make batting easier.
