Royal Challengers Bangalore will be desperate for a win when they take on Kolkata Knight Riders at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Friday, April 5, 2019. The match will start at 8:00 PM IST onwards.
On Saturday, Chennai will take on table-toppers Kings XI Punjab in the day/night game and Sunrisers will take on the Mumbai Indian at 8 PM.
RCB hasn't won a single match in this season of IPL, even though they have played four matches. They have played against Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai Indians, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Rajasthan Royals. In their previous match against Rajasthan, Virat Kohli's men lost by seven wickets in Jaipur.
KKR, on another hand, has played three matches and won two of them. They are currently in fourth place on the points table. Dinesh Karthik and co lost their previous match in a super over to Delhi Capitals at the Feroz Shah Kotla after a thrilling tie.
It's @imVkohli's @RCBTweets that will take on @DineshKarthik's @KKRiders.

Virat hints changes in the side of the KKR clash
RCB got back the services of Marcus Stoinis in the previous game.
Even though Tim Southee didn't feature in the previous match, he is likely to back in the side for this crucial home encounter.

Either Umesh Yadav or Navdeep Saini will make way for Southee.
In that situation, Shimron Hetmyer may miss out after failing to register a double-digit score in four innings. Washington Sundar could get a look-in.
The rest of the side is expected to be the same, but skipper Virat Kohli may go back to no. 3, with Stoinis or Moeen going up the order to open the innings.

No concerns regarding Sunil Narine's fitness
Sunil Narine missed out the previous match for KKR against Delhi, but he is said to be fit for this game. According to the Cricbuzz report, Narine will replace Nikhil Naik in the XI.
Rest of the side will be the same as the previous match.
The Bengaluru pitch is known for being batting friendly and that story won't change when RCB face KKR on Friday. The weather would be clear with no chances of rain. It is expected to be hot and humid during the evening as well.
