Chennai seek balance without Ngidi
Chennai Super Kings have a squad to reckon with.
With the amount of variety in their squad, it will be interesting to see what combination they choose for the first game. Their four overseas players are likely to be Faf du Plessis, Shane Watson, Dwayne Bravo and David Willey.
Our Challengers' favourite chant over the years has been 'RCB' screamed as loudly as possible. So we decided to take that and turn it into an anthem! Let's sing it loudly and proudly! Khel ke dikha, RCB!Yaare barali, RCB!#PlayBold pic.twitter.com/G2Sr51RY6L

Mohit Sharma is the new addition to the squad from the previous year.
Lungi Ngidi has been ruled out of the tournament with an injury. Rest of the XI should comprise of Suresh Raina, MS Dhoni, Ambati Rayudu and Kedar Jadhav, with a certain amount of uncertainty within the bowling department. Ravindra Jadeja should make it to the squad given his experience.

Kohli hopeful for an improved show this season
Royal Challengers Bangalore will once again heavily rely on Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers. Shimron Hetmyer and Shivam Dubey, who was bought this year will directly get a chance while Washington Sundar might share the spin bowling department with Yuzvendra Chahal. Umesh Yadav and Tim Southee will also be crucial while Moeen Ali will get a chance in the absence of Marcus Stoinis. Parthiv Patel is likely to keep wickets and might also be seen opening the innings.

Chennai hosted one match in the last year's IPL and the more than 400 runs were scored in the game.
If the track stays the same, then we could witness another run fest. It can be guaranteed that the ball may do something while its new and the spinners may play an important role in the middle overs. The weather should be absolutely clear and will have no negative impact on the game.
