Rohit likely to be rested
Rohit Sharma, who has played regular matches in some recent times could be rested for this game as there is a ODI series to be played as well.
According to the Cricbuzz report, KL Rahul could be seen opening the innings with Shikhar Dhawan in Bangalore after the latter was spotted practicing in the net session for a long duration on the eve of the game.
India could also add Vijay Shankar as the sixth bowling option which might be necessary in Bangalore.
Mayank Markande could also be dropped after a disappointing outing in the last game and this could give Siddharth Kaul another chance as well. Rest of the line-up should be the same for India.
Australia aim for their first T20I series win in India
Australia may not look at making any changes to the lineup. But there could be a change in the batting order. Captain Aaron Finch decided to bat at no. 3 below Marcus Stoinis, but he could go back to opening the innings with D Arcy Short. According to the Cricbuzz report, Kane Richardson could also come into the XI replacing Jhye Richardson.
When two teams arrive in Bangalore, more often than not there is a scare of rain playing the spoilsport. The situation is not so different this time as well. If the game is played, then we could have a high-scoring on this track at the Chinnaswamy stadium. Cricbuzz report also suggests that there could be some green tinge supporting the pacers as well.
