After a thrilling match in Adelaide, Australia will take on India in the second Test starting on December 14, 2018, at the Optus Stadium in Perth.
Live updates:
Australia 112/1
Australia won the toss and bat first
The first day's play will start at 10:20 AM AWST, 7:50 AM IST.
India is leading the four-match series 1-0 after beating Australia in the first Test by 31 runs. Cheteshwar Pujara's brilliant knocks of 123 and 71 in the two innings inspired a memorable victory for the visitors.
The first day of the Test is expected to be the hottest, with the temperature peaking at 36C.
Therefore, it won't be a surprise if the captain winning the toss opts to bat first.
While the Australians think they would benefit from the green track of Perth, Indian skipper Virat Kohli has different ideas, he wants to exploit the pitch with the Indian Pacers. It would be an interesting battle.

India announced their 13-men shortlist on Thursday morning.
Rohit Sharma, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Prithvi Shaw were left out due to their respective injuries.
There will be a straight contest between Umesh Yadav, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar and Ravindra Jadeja for Ashwin's spot while Hanuma Vihari will come in for Sharma.
Australia has their work cut out when they land in Perth. Another loss would mean they can't regain the Border-Gavaskar.
Mitchell Marsh could be picked in the XI, as Perth is his home turf. The fact that Marsh Junior can be a handy fifth bowler could play a part in his selection. Rest of the side should be the same as the Adelaide Test.
