Australia look for a turnaround
Australia is currently down on their spirits.
The hosts have lost their previous seven games and will be looking to come back into this series by a good performance in the second ODI. A win will keep them alive in the series, which they desperately need as a unit right now.
According to Cricbuzz, Ben McDermott was roped in as an injury cover to Shaun Marsh who missed the first ODI.
Australia is unlikely to make too many changes as they would like to stick to a particular line-up and hope for a just a better result.

Proteas eye series
The tourists started the series with a comprehensive victory and right now they are one win away from securing a series down under.
According to ESPN Cricinfo, the Proteas have no fitness issues and considering the result in the first game, they look strong with their current side. The visitors are likely to stick to the same XI for the second ODI.

The Adelaide pitch has always been good for batting and on Friday it won't be any different. There will be some seam movement for the new ball bowlers, but if batsmen are able to get through that phase, it will get easier to bat on.
The weather forecast predicts a pleasant day for playing Cricket. The temperature is expected to be around 20 degrees with zero chances of rain.
