Sikandar Raza back in Zimbabwe side
Rubel Hossain was reported ill due to fever but ESPNCricinfo confirmed that the pacer should be fit in time for the first ODI.
Bangladesh is yet to find a suitable opening partner to Liton Das, in absence of Tamim Iqbal. Mehedi Hassan opened in the last international game the side played, but the look of the squad gives a different idea. Bangladesh is also without the experienced all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan.

Sikandar Raza will be coming back into the XI after missing the last two series. The middle-order of Zimbabwe looks really solid on paper, but performance and results haven't gone their way in recent times.
ESPN Cricinfo stated that Craig Ervine was tried at the opening position for the warm-up game, but couldn't really get going. In this case, Solomon Mire is likely to open with Hamilton Masakadza.
A slow pitch awaits the two sides
The Dhaka pitch is known for being slow and offers some turn for the spinners. Seamers who can vary their pace and variations are usually successful in these conditions.
Not most runs yielding pitch, but the turf in Dhaka has produced a lot of interesting games.
