According to the latest reports from Italy, Juventus could launch a bid for Leicester City star, Riyad Mahrez. The Algerian winger, who had an amazing season during the 2015/16 campaign isn't enjoying the best of form this season as he's struggling with his team, Leicester City.

The Algerian forward won the league last season with Leicester City which was arguably the biggest underdog story in the history of football. Leicester City have struggled this season as they see themselves at 15th place as of right now and they also sacked their legendary manager Claudio Ranieri in hopes of staying in the league.

But according to Calcio Mercato, Leicester may get in a lot of trouble after Juventus are after their best player, Riyad Mahrez. Juventus have shortlisted him alongside Douglas Costa of Bayern Munich and also Fiorentina star Federico Bernardeschi.

Last season, Mahrez managed to score 17 goals and have 11 assists and was even shortlisted for the Ballon d'Or but this season his form hasn't been the best even though he has managed to score 4 goals and have 1 assist in the Champions League.

Will Leicester City rise again?

Last season, Leicester won the league but right now they sit at 15th place. This season wasn't what Leicester was hoping for sure. Surely last season was a nice surprise but to be honest we all knew that Leicester probably wouldn't be in the top 6 again this season.

Things got so bad that they had to sack the Italian manager, Claudio Ranieri which achieved what no one thought would be possible. Fans from all over the world and not only Leicester fans but football fans were upset with this.

But ever since Claudio Ranieri left Leicester City, they have managed to get a 3-1 win against Liverpool and also they beat Hull City with the same result after not scoring a goal in the Premier League since 17th December 2016.

Riyad Mahrez and his teammates will host Sevilla for the second-leg of their last 16 tie with the Spanish side after they lost the first match 2-1 in Sevilla.
