Italian club AS Roma reportedly want Portuguese midfield general Joao Moutinho on loan this January. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the 30-year-old has been made available this window after falling behind in the pecking order at Ligue 1 side AS Monaco.
The former FC Porto and Sporting CP player has made just nine starting appearances this season under Leonardo Jardim whose high-flying side currently occupy the second spot on the Ligue 1 table just two points behind OGC Nice.
The only stumbling block that could hamper AS Roma's plans from procuring Moutinho is the player's salary.
Moutinho currently earns a reported 4 million Euros in France. However, Gazzetta dello Sport are under the impression that the Portuguese international might be willing to take a pay cut for the sake of more playing minutes on the pitch.
Liverpool want Juve starlet
Liverpool is willing to offer 10 million Euros for 19-year-old Juventus midfielder Francsco Cassata according to Italian transfer specialist Gianluca Di Marzio. Cassata has been on loan at Serie B side Ascoli since the beginning of the 2016-17 season.
Di Marzio maintains that there is no indication of whether Juventus would be willing to cash in on the talented young midfielder but it is evident that Cassata's stock has increased since his loan move to Ascoli.
Januzaj wanted in France
Manchester United attacking midfielder Adnan Januzaj is reportedly a wanted man in France. The Belgian who fell out of favour with former United manager Louis van Gaal, has been on loan at Sunderland under David Moyes since the beginning of last season.
But several reports from the french media have linked him with a move to Ligue 1 side Olympique Lyonnais.
According to L'Equipe, Lyon has been monitoring Januzaj's progress in Tyneside over the last few weeks and are prepared to launch a bid for a permanent move away from United. The French club is also linked with a move for another United attacker, Memphis Depay, who has been consistently overlooked by Jose Mourinho this season.
