Manchester United have been handed a massive boost regarding the transfer speculation of Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann. The English giants have had a big interest in the French forward for some time and Griezmann's recent comments regarding Paul Pogba are only adding fuel to fire that he could be moving to Old Trafford in the future.
Griezmann and Pogba are good friends
Griezmann is currently on international duty with France alongside Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, ahead of the World Cup qualifier on Friday against Sweden. The pair have been photographed together several times off the pitch, suggesting the closeness in the pairs friendship.
Also, Griezmann has told Sky that he would like to play alongside Pogba at club level and has even been asking questions about the Manchester United set-up.
Griezmann: "I always ask Paul Pogba about Manchester United"
Antoine Griezmann, 25, whilst in Germany, told Sky that although he doesn't see a move away from Madrid in the near future, he admitted that he would love to play with Pogba one day.
"You hear a lot of things [speculation] about Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain but right now I don't see me moving to a new club. But it would be awesome to play alongside Paul one day."
The former Real Sociedad forward also admitted asking questions about United, their set-up, the players and the manager, Jose Mourinho.
"I always ask Paul Pogba about Manchester United." Griezmann said. "I think they are a huge club with a really good infrastructure.
"I ask Paul about some of the players, and if they're really that good, or if Jose Mourinho is really that good."

Despite the signing of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and the breakthrough of wonder kid Marcus Rashford, everyone involved with Manchester United would be more than a little excited to hear of the interest from Griezmann. His goal scoring record speaks for itself and it's just what United need to fight back against the top teams in the Premier League.
