On April 17th, the announcement of UAE Billionaire Dr. B R Shetty to bankroll 1000 crores project 'Mahabharata - Randaamoozham' created the sensation all over the India. The filmmakers confirmed that Malayalam superstar Mohanlal is enacting the role of Bheema in this India's biggest budget entertainer, which is going to be the central character of the film and VA Shrikumar Menon is helming this magnum opus.
Now, yet another interesting news is creating curiosity among the moviegoers on this epic movie. Director Shrikumar Menon confirmed in an interview with club FM UAE that he would like to cast either Bollywood Handsome Hunk Hrithik Roshan or Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu for the role of Sreekrishna in the movie.
With the names of Mahesh Babu and Hrithik Roshan in this epic entertainer, the project is getting bigger and raising curiosity among the moviegoers.
Mahabharata will be produced in two parts and it is scheduled to go on floors by 2018 and will be released in early 2020. The second part of the movie will be released within 90 days of the first part. The movie will be primarily shot in English, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and will be dubbed into major Indian languages and leading foreign languages.
