Hugh Jackman's 'Logan' performed extremely well at the worldwide Box Office in its opening weekend. 'Logan' minted $237.8 million worldwide in its 3 days run at the ticket window. In the USA alone, the film raked close to $85.3 million in its opening weekend. This is a superb start for the movie at the ticket window and biggest opening weekend until now in the USA and worldwide. Especially the positive reviews for this X-men film helped in raking record-breaking collections all over the world.

The movie is also performing extremely well in the Indian markets outperforming the existing local language films in revenue.

'Logan' 1st-weekend India collection

The film collected Rs 4.75 crores nett on the first day of its release in India and Rs 5.75 crores on the second day. The total two days collections of 'Logan' at the Indian box office are Rs 10.5 crores nett and Rs 14.7 crores gross.

On Sunday, the movie performed even better than Saturday and the third-day collections are estimated to be between Rs 6 to 6.5 crores nett taking its total three days collection to Rs 16.5 to 17 crores nett. The 1st-weekend collections of 'Logan' are better than Bollywood action entertainer 'Commando 2' which released in 2200 screens across the India as 'Commando 2' mints only Rs 14 crores nett during its opening weekend in the Indian markets.

Thus James Mangold's directional project has a terrific opening weekend at the Indian markets.

'Logan' enters 10th position in WW box office revenue

The film entered the 10th position in worldwide top collected films this year with its opening weekend collections. Currently, 'Fifty Shades Darker' stands in top position with $356.1 million, 'XXX: The return of Xander cage' in the second position with $337.8 million and 'Your Name' in the third position with $328 million.

Going by the trend, 'Logan' can enter the top three position by the end of the first-week run and it will surpass 'Fifty Shades Darker' collections by the end of the second-week run to occupy the Top position in this year's box office revenue.
