Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar came up with 'Jolly Llb 2' last Friday at the ticket window. The movie is performing extremely well at the box office and it crossed the Rs 80 crores club within eight days of its release and is heading towards 100 Crore Club at the Indian box office. Akshay Kumar's 'Jolly LLB 2' collected Rs 81.85 crores nett in its eight-day run at the ticket window and the movie is expected to mint above Rs 90 crores in its 10 days run. The actor has had a great start at the box office from the year 2016. On Jan. 22nd, 2016, his movie 'Airlift' was released all over the world directed by Raja Krishna Menon. The movie minted Rs 129 crores nett at the Indian markets in its total run.
After 'Airlift', the actor was back with a fun entertainer 'Housefull 3' which released on June 3rd, 2016. The film collected Rs 109 crores nett at the Indian markets and it was a back-to-back Hundred crores film for Akshay Kumar.
During the second half of the year 2016, the actor came up with the film 'Rustom' which minted Rs 128 crores nett and became a superhit at the box office.
Thus the actor scored Hat-trick 100-crore films in the year 2016.
On the other hand, the journey to the 100-crores club still continues with his films in 2017 as the actor's first movie in 2017 named as 'Jolly LLB 2' is heading for yet another 100-crore movie in the actor's career.

After 'Jolly LLB 2', he will be seen in a guest role in Taapsee starrer movie Naam Shabana which is slated for March 31st, 2017 release.
Thereafter he is going to come up with 'Toilet Ek Prem Katha' directed by Shree Narayan Singh, the film is currently under the shoot and filmmakers are planning for June 2nd release.
On the other hand, the actor is playing antagonist role in India's costliest film 'Robo 2.0' which is made with a whopping budget of Rs 450 crores and the film was directed by Shankar.
The shooting of this movie is in final stages and it will be wrapped by April. The filmmakers are planning to release the movie for Diwali 2017.
